Where the Wildflowers Don't Bloom P1

Part 1

February 2nd 2023,

I was out of my home rather early than usual, because it's one of the special day, a day I was looking forward. I hurried my way to my classroom for our attendance. Usually the attendance will be taken after the lecture but today there is none, today we are celebrating some kind of College Fair. The Expo is not the reason why my heart is pacing differently. Hell! My heart is not even in the very room with me right now, it is across the block, right in the Literature Department.

After Professor checked out all our names we were free to go. I was not even walking when I realized when Benny called out from behind. He is my best pal, we go everywhere with each others company, we are almost like a package deal but today I felt differently not because I don't want Benny to be around when I do that. He used to witness most of  my stunts and god knows what more but I just felt today maybe different, for a moment I was not even myself , I just flown.

When I came to the Final year Classroom everyone was already out, Hannah was on her way out when she saw me breathing recklessly infront of the door frame.

"Huh, Are you not gonna let me out?" She raised her eyebrows not in a threatening way but still scary.

"I am Sorry, I was-" I moved aside and she didn't let me finish the sentence.

"Everyone is outside" she paused, "She will be near the Kiosk" Hannah left after waving her hand to say goodbye.

She didn't wait for me to response. When I moved back to the Hallway I meet Benny and Abe, they must have caught up with me. I made peace with both of them since I trotted without telling anything.

"I thought you are running to holed up in your Volunteer desk, I didn't expect you to see you here" Abe punched at my shoulder while we are walking down the stairs towards the Hallway to Auditorium.

I totally forgot about my Volunteer duties for today, I just hope I wouldn't seen by the Student Chairman, he is a Good lad but a pain in the ass. 

"So what now?" Benny asked both of us

"We are going to Enjoy this Day, Just the four of us" Abe paused and we all looked around. We forgot Vicky again.

"It's not our fault, he just didn't realize we are not with him since he is busy being a Romeo to his Juliet" Benny said.

I don't want to break their amusement for today but I have to go. "I guess then I too have to leave" I looked both of their eyes while saying.

"Don't tell me! You-" both gasped

"No sorry by the way" I ran laughing, I know they will forgive me for today, but I won't forgive myself if I leave the opportunity I have today.

After leaving two undergrown adults now I am heading to the Kiosk to do some real Adult Talk. I am not going to lie, today is just an excuse, I could have done it anytime before but I prefer her to receive the message when she has minimum Academic worries. I do remember how she reacted when I told her 96 is a good mark, man I don't want to see that expression on her face again. Again it's just an excuse, I don't trust myself to execute the plan I prepared on my mind.

"Why are you alone? Where are they two? Slopping off again" Vicky appeared out of nowhere while I was near the front garden near the kiosk.

"Seriously Man?" I looked at the spawned devil, "Just Kidding, you do what you are going to do I will find them" he gone before I say anything. He didn't even ask me what I am doing here. Maybe he guessed why I am here.

There she is! My moon, the brightest star in my darkest night, my lighthouse in the middle of the vast black ocean. We talk mostly on messages yet I never missed to saw her everyday, but today feels different, She is the same woman I fell in love with when I first saw her in the auditorium when she tied her hair up, She is the same woman however today, at this moment she is breathtaking, and I don't know if I have enough strength left to even greet her.

From most things I love about her, One certain thing is she do what she loves to do even if anyone says anything, I could stand here watching her reading her book till the end of the time. That's when she saw me. I would die to re-live this exact moment again and again. She looked like one of those paintings from the art gallery that people would wait eternally to see once in their life time.
